About Tegan

Tegan is known for taking the lead and being proactive when dealing with her client’s case.

She believes that all cases are equally important and require the same hands-on attention necessary to ensure the right outcomes are achieved, efficiently for her clients.

Tegan is passionate about helping people through some of the most difficult times and decisions of their life.

She aims to create an environment of trust and openness where clients can feel comfortable and free to discuss their individual situation and needs without judgement. This is important to ensure she can work towards the best possible outcome.

Tegan enjoys spending time with her family, friends and husky. She also enjoys a social game of netball and basketball. Whenever possible she will take advantage of the great outdoors, whether it is a hike, the beach or a road trip.

Julia West

Solicitor

About Julia

Julia joined Martens Legal as a Solicitor in August 2018 and works directly with the Principal, Tegan Martens.

She brings to the firm a great deal of knowledge and skills that extend far beyond her admission experience. Since 2012, Julia has volunteered her time at community legal centres and has worked in law firms while completing her studies. She also held the position of Associate to a District Court Judge before her admission as a Solicitor in October 2017.

Julia was drawn to family law because she is passionate about helping others. Her dedicated, proactive and personal approach mirrors the values of Martens Legal and makes her an excellent addition to the team!

In her spare time, Julia enjoys practising yoga, travelling and spending time with her family and friends. She also regularly volunteers at the Suncoast Community Legal Service Inc.
