About Elda

I am the Director of Operations at Martens Legal.

My role is central to the firm’s success, requiring me to lead with energy, flexibility, and exceptional organizational skills. I oversee all aspects regarding the day-to-day operations and works closely with the team, particularly the Director, Tegan, to ensure that everything from client onboarding to firm targets is met with precision and care.

My key responsibilities include overseeing the management of new leads, onboarding clients, and ensuring a seamless experience for both the team and clients. I also drive the firm’s efficiency, ensuring work-in-progress (WIP) is invoiced promptly, which not only reinforces our commitment to transparency to clients regarding their expected costs, but also ensures that workflows for matters are monitored and maintain their projected timeframes and trajectories. Of course, where required, I am key in re-assessing and liaising with the team to provide revised costings and anticipated work to clients.

I lead the team with a strategic vision, supporting the firm’s growth and harmony, while welcoming and encouraging the team to offer up their ideas and suggestions. The focus on a truly collaborative approach is one of the fundamental elements to the current success of Martens Legal.

Beyond operational tasks, I also provides crucial support to the lawyers by assisting with tasks related to clients’ legal matters.

My vast and varied experience across different industries has equipped me with the ability to understand the needs of both the business and its clients. My proactive approach, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills allow me to manage complex operational challenges with ease. I am deeply committed to fostering a positive team culture, organizing team-building events, and ensuring that everyone feels valued and motivated.

My leadership extends beyond my professional life, ensuring that my two young daughters inherit my values of respect, kindness, and compassion (along with my loud laugh!). Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters, and our white ratdog. Whether I’m whipping up Italian feasts or sharing a cheeky drink with friends, I always try to bring my unique sense of humour and vibrant personality to everything I do.
