About Amanda

Amanda is our exceptionally talented Legal Assistant at Martens Legal.

In 2006, she began her career in the legal industry at a medium sized law firm in the Brisbane CBD, initially as a Secretary and then working her way to Paralegal by 2009.

Amanda decided to made the sea change to the Sunshine Coast in 2011 and in her words she “has never looked back!“. Can you blame her!

Prior to the legal industry, Amanda also worked for the Brisbane City Council and Office of the Lord Mayor. These roles allowed her to gain considerable experience in office administration.

Amanda is highly organised and very well adept with balancing the day to day management of legal matters.

She has expertise in various areas of law but found a passion for family law when she returned to work after having children. Her goal in family law is to be understanding of her client’s position and to assist them with a resolution that is efficient whilst also being as affordable as possible.

Amanda’s values include compassion, respect, and efficiency, and these truly align with the entire team at Martens Legal.

On her days off, you will find Amanda at the beach with her family and friends, at the rugby fields cheering on her 3 boys, or at the dance studio with her daughter.
