Alana is our Associate Lawyer at Martens Legal.
What attracted Alana to joining the Martens Legal team was “the focus they placed on assisting separated couples to resolve their family law matters amicably and out of Court”.
Alana wanted to be a family lawyer since high school and was drawn to the profession to help people through what is often one of the most difficult times in their lives.
In 2014 Alana commenced her career in family law, making the move from Central Queensland to Brisbane to begin her law degree and to work at a family law firm as a Paralegal. She was fortunate enough to connect and work with some of Brisbane’s highly respected family lawyers during her studies and obtained invaluable experience preparing for and attending Mediations and Court. After finishing her studies and following her admission in 2018, Alana commenced her career as a family lawyer and has (mostly) never looked back!
Alana has a broad range of experience across different family law firms, from small boutique firms to leading firms in Brisbane’s CBD. In particular, she has a keen interest in property matters and is always up for a challenge. Whether it is a more straightforward property division or the more complex and intricate divisions; her problem-solving abilities are outstanding if we do say so ourselves.
In Alana’s spare time you will find her playing sport, jet skiing or spending time with her dogs. Alana is also an avid rugby league fan. Broncos unfortunately… but don’t hold that against her.
