About Anita

As the Operations Manager at Martens Legal, Anita’s role requires her to be extremely dynamic. On any given day, Anita could be:

– assisting the team with tasks related to client’s legal matters;

– helping Tegan with the day-to-day business operations; or

–  strategizing improvements and bigger picture planning for the firm.

She is a ‘jack of all trades’ so to speak and in Anita’s own words, she is “forever learning a new skill whether it be playing fantasy football or crocheting a blanket”.

So… how did Anita get here? After completing her Business degree in 2016, she spent the start of her career in the employment and training sector. In her last role she helped and supported high school students through the process of obtaining school-based apprenticeships. This included things such as employability coaching, post-placement support and maintaining new and existing client relationships.

Anita’s passion for helping others meant that she excelled in this role. It was her interest in law that existed from a very young age however, which ultimately drew her to making the brave move to change her career path and join the Martens Legal team in mid-2020 (luckily for us!).

Since starting with the firm, it is clear that Anita’s values of professionalism, compassion and organisation truly align with those of the firm, and in Tegan’s words “it is why she has become a part of the Martens Legal furniture – in the best possible way”.

At the start of 2021, Anita has also taken the exciting step to further pursue her career in the legal industry by commencing her Bachelor of Laws.

In her spare time, you will find Anita by the beach or spending time with her friends and family. Anita also enjoys playing Touch Football and Indoor Soccer. She hates to admit, but Anita is also an avid NRL fan – go Storm!
